"Arms & Armour has spent fifteen years reshaping their starting point as a band of voices, guitar, and drums into the 'electronic, sludgy monstrosity' that Lauren Voss and John Panza describe now. The Cleveland duo works in a particularly dense area of post-punk, industrial, and gothic, with music infused with noise and electronics. The Hunted, their upcoming album, brings together that evolution in ten songs that look at illness, tragedy, parenting, political wear, and aging.

"'Terror By Night' was recorded during 2025 and 2026 at Dark Current, the band's studio set up inside a 140-year-old drill factory in Cleveland. Arms & Armour produced, recorded, and mixed the entire album on their own, with Brad Boatright handling mastering at Audiosiege, Portland. The song works as a gateway to the album and puts forward a specific concern of the band: the way patriarchal authority figures take advantage of health crises and other emergencies while staying away from those who suffer the consequences. The album will be released on September 4 through Sweet Cheetah Records.

"There’s an almost physical heaviness in the mix of battered guitars, mechanical rhythms, and synthesizers surrounding Voss’s voice. 'Terror By Night' has a bit of that rougher industrial vibe, but keeps the dry tension of post-punk and a darkness close to gothic rock.
