Crazewire reviews Box Elder’s self-titled debut

If you can read the German language, head over to Crazewire for its review of Box Elder’s debut album here. This is an excerpt:

"The connection to emo, as it was played at the end of the 1990s, is unmistakable. What is especially impressive is Archuleta's fine touch when it comes to catchy pop choruses. The opener ‘Takes One To Know One’ is already a prime example of how to perfectly combine intensity, emotion, and melody. With ‘Post College Days,’ Box Elder has also managed a small hit that sticks immediately on the first listen and comes across almost anthemic. The driving ‘Bug’ then stands out due to extremely varied songwriting – I love it."
