Jersey Beat shares review of Box Elder album

Paul Silver from Jersey Beat shared an insightful review of Box Elder’s debut album here. Here’s an excerpt: “Box Elder’s recent relocation from Wyoming to Salt Lake City, and the resulting lineup changes, hasn’t slowed them down one iota. On the contrary, the band seems stronger than ever. I last reviewed Box Elder’s Minimums LP back in 2022. I noted that it was full of pop hooks and dripping with emotion, and was expansive, with elements of dream pop and emotional pop punk. This is still true, but the band sounds amped up, stronger, and more powerful. When key people in a band relocate and there are major lineup changes, it often spells a slow end for a band. It seems in the case of Box Elder, it’s only strengthened them.”
