Upset Boy and The Queens EP sees review from Jersey Beat

Paul Silver from Jersey Beat had this to say about Upset Boy and The Queens’ sophomore EP, Hissy Fit For Destruction:

"Nashville’s Upset Boy & the Queens are back with a new six-song EP. This time out there’s less country and more alt-rock grit than past releases. The opening track, 'Kink,' has a dark edge to it, and has glam tinges mixed in with '90s noise rock, in this dark underbelly of a song about forbidden love. 'Kickstand' is also '90s alt-rock fare, while 'Kamikaze' is a high-tension sort of track, channeling an Amphetamine Reptile sort of vibe. 'Scatterbrain' reminds me of a grunged-up ballad, and 'Funny Way' mixes angular noise rock with the only hint of Americana on the EP. The EP closes with 'Reckless,' something that could have come out of 1990's Seattle. If you’re a fan of 90's alt-rock, give this a spin. I think you’ll be a fan."
